The GG&G Standard Aimpoint Ring provides rock-solid mounting, and is built to withstand the rigors of combat. It is the most rugged standard height scope ring for the Aimpoint
available today. The GGG Standard Aimpoint Scope Ring is designed and manufactured to maximize the Aimpoint's tactical features. Unlike the copycat and cheap knockoffs available today, this GG&G scope ring is manufactured from 6061 T6 solid billet aluminum and Type III hard-coat anodized black per mil-spec, no shiny anodized finish, no extrusions or out-of-spec cast parts here! The GG&G Standard Aimpoint 30mm Ring is attached to the scope mount base by using a squeeze rail design, incorporating a single elliptical thumbnut. There is also a square locking cross bar for recoil control. The ring body has a built-in insulated spare battery compartment with a spare battery cap. This is an important feature and it's located on the side of the ring for easy access. The GG&G Aimpoint Ring is extra wide so that only one ring is required.
In order to co-witness with a back-up iron sight and the front sight, the low-profile GG&G Scope Ring for Aimpoint Comp M Series Red Dot Sights must be mounted on the GG&G Scout Length FIRE System Rail.
