The entire front of the Half Track opens up, allowing you to arrange your gear without having to dig through it all. A fold down shelf can divide the upper and lower portions of the pack, and there are tuck pouches of varying sizes all up and down the interior. A unique feature that separates the Eberlestock Military Half-Track from its hunting-oriented brother (the Eberlestock Hunting HalfTrack F3HR) is the plastic mesh radio rack on the rear wall.
But that's just the interior of the Eberlestock Half-Track. This hunting accessory has two large side pockets, capable of carrying two 3 liter hydration systems, and inboard sleeves on other outer pockets are ideal for more compact equipment. D-ring equipped tunnel pockets are great for carrying skis, tripods, shooting sticks, and other long equipment. And if you want more storage, the addition of pouches is incredibly easy. Padlock webbing runs up and down both the interior and exterior of the Eberlestock Military Half Track Backpack, so it's possible to attach as many Eberlestock pouches as you need. Even the weight belt of the Eberlestock Soldier HalfTrack Pack has PALS webbing on it.
With all that potential weight on your back, you might expect the Eberlestock F3M HalfTrack to be a chore to carry around, but the professional design of this pack makes even extended hikes a breeze. Sporting a plastic frame sheet and internal aluminum Cellular stays, the pack uses a hand-sewn support and ventilation system to spread the weight to all areas of your body and prevent your back from becoming overly sweaty. The weight belt on the Military Half Track is slightly longer than the Hunting version, giving a more even weight distribution. A lightweight, pull-out rain cover stows in a bottom pocket until you need it. The rain cover is large enough to cover the entire Eberlestock Half Track Army Backpack and any weapons you may have mounted on it. The HalfTrack is compatible with the Eberlestock ButtBucket, so you can easily attach a rifle or bow to the pack and remove it without ever taking off the HalfTrack. No matter where your patrol takes you, the Eberlestock Half-Track Military Equipment Pack can serve as your closet, weapon rack, pantry, refrigerator, and workbench, all while riding comfortably on your back.
