Thermal Eye X-50 Thermal Imaging Camera sets the standard for size, weight and affordability in thermal cameras. This little gem of technology from Thermal Eye is small enough to fit right in your pocket, and it's built with a rugged outer shell that keeps the high-tech insides protected and safe. The X50 is a perfect thermal imaging camera for public safety, first responder and security operations. The Thermal Eye X50 supports first responders with rapid, easy to use, handheld thermal vision, which helps to find and locate suspects and victims.
The Thermal Eye X50 Thermal Camera stows easily in your pocket for quick extraction in the field and on the run. The X-50 is unaffected by bright lights, glare or shadows, unlike traditional night vision technology. Thermal Eye Thermal Imaging is powered by advanced amorphous silicon microbolometer technology. This thermal vision camera weighs a paltry 13 ounces (0.38kg), and can detect human activity from more than 1000ft (300m) away. The L-3 Thermal Eye X50 Imager was custom-designed for Local Law Enforcement agencies, where price is a top priority - but the way it performs, you'll never know the difference.
The ThermalEye X50 requires two AA batteries, which provide an operating life of 5 hours (lithium batteries) or 2 hours (alkaline batteries).
