This Nikon Range Finder gives you fast and easy measurements of horizontal distance, height, vertical separation (the difference in height between two targets), horizontal distance and angle. The Nikon Forestry Ranger will measure different distances in succession, for up to 20 seconds, when the button is held down. Two different target priority modes let you skip past the leaves and other obstructions to find the target you really want:

• First Target Priority Mode displays the range to the nearest target taken from multiple results obtained with a single measurement.
• Distant Target Priority Mode displays the range to the farthest target taken from multiple results obtained with a single measurement - especially useful for forestry and hunting.

High-quality multilayer coated optics let the monocular produce bright images, with 6x magnification that gives you a clear view of the target. The Nikon 550 Forest Range Finder features two display screens to tell you all your ranger business: an internal LCD panel, and a larger external LCD panel that displays all results simultaneously. This Nikon Rangefinder is waterproof (up to 1 meter for 10 minutes). The battery chamber is water resistant. Measurement range: 10-500 m/11-550 yd. The Nikon Forest 550 Rangefinder features a high-eyepoint design that allows easy viewing even with eyeglasses.
