Warne Matte Scope Base For Smith & Wesson X Frame on sale and available from our online store. OpticsPlanet, Inc is an Authorized US Distributor for Warne Rifle Scope Mounts, Rings and Bases. This base comes in a silver/matte/gloss finish and is specifically designed for use on S&W K, L, N & X frame revolvers. Made from solid steel to handle recoil, this base is the first of its kind. The S&W rear sight is removed to install most scope mounts. Warne's base allows the user to reinstall the rear sight and front sight onto the top of the base. The factory sights are then fully functional. The base also accepts all Weaver style scope rings.
