SOG Trident Mini Straight Edge Knife is an extremely compact, multi-purpose knife from the blade professionals at SOG. The SOG Trident series is built around an AUS 8 stainless steel blade with curved blade design. Measuring out to just 3.15" long, the blade features a straight edge and a curved thumb rasp to improve your leverage. SOG Trident Mini knives have an innovative handle design that features the patent-pending Groove, a small notch in the handle that allows you to cut paracord and fishing line without deploying the blade. The handle of the Trident Mini itself is molded from glass-reinforced nylon, complete with DigiGrip texturing for improved grip. Security and speed are the buzzwords with all Trident knives; these SOG knives feature the SAT (SOG Assisted Technology) blade release mechanism for one-handed, spring-loaded blade deployment. The built-in Arc-Actuator automatically locks the blade open, while an additional safety lock lets you know when the blade is securely closed.
