Designed for even the toughest of tactical situations, the Versa-Pod Lightning Forward Grip Tactical Bipod 180-602 is a short prone position, forward grip made with ski feet that offer amazing stability. This amazing Tactical Bipod from the experts at Versa-Pod was created to serve as both an ergonomic forward grip for better control of the weapon during fully automatic fire as well as a bipod for use when engaging targets that are further away. Wherever possible, Nylon 12 (a material that is highly resistant to temperature extremes) has been added to the Versa-Pod Lightning Bipod shield the user's hand from the heat generated from continuously firing in the full-auto mode. The ergonomic housing on the Lightning 180-602 conceals a fully-functional bipod with individual height adjustments so as to allow the bipod to be used on uneven terrain. The Versa-Pod Lightning Forward Grip w/ Bipod has a rugged clamp design that uses dual locking lugs to secure the forward grip/bipod to the MIL-STD-1913 rail and is rated to withstand 5,000 lbs of shear force.
