We design this circuit to survive the toughest torture environment including: 1) repeatedly over-night burn-in test w/ minimal cooling, 2) over input voltage test of up to 10.5V, 3) over-driven output current test of up to 3.7A, and 4) high temperature duration test.

Inside the C3000 TS

This highly efficient synchronous buck current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. Our smart low EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity for the circuit and LED to enhance their service life.

We utilize low RDS(on) high power external mosfets, rugged & shielded power inductor, low ESR tantalum capacitors, and low resistance 2 oz copper PCB for maximum efficiency. This also lower required input voltage to current regulate the LED at maximum output when the battery voltage is near the LED forward voltage (i.e. longer regulated runtime with single 18650 battery at 100% output).

Excellent runtime and flat regulation

S200C2 runs for 80 hours on its lowest brightness level with a single EAGTAC 3400mAH 18650 li-ion. The current regulated circuit design allows constant output throughout its runtime for all output levels without flicking.

At highest brightness level, S200C2 current regulates for 0.8 hour using two EAGTAC CR123A batteries. With a single EAGTAC 3400mAh 18650 battery, you get about 1.5 hours of runtime on 100% output.

Energy saving technology

1) This feature prolongs turbo output runtime, by reducing output current by 10% after 200 seconds at turbo mode.

2) ANSI FL-1 lumen is the total overall light output being emitted from the flashlight. This measurement is generally more accurate as it takes into consideration the loss from reflector/lens/bezel. EAGTAC ANSI FL-1 Lumen output is measured using a calibrated integrated sphere one minute after turning on the flashlight.

Cool White output

This gives you the maximum brightness output in its class. Our XM-L2 LED offers 1278 LED lumen at turbo mode with industrial leading efficiency (175+ lumen/watt at 700mA current output).

Neutral White output

If you need awesome beam output out in the woods, or areas with a lot of green vegetation, use our neutral white LED as it offers higher CRI (Color rendering index) compared to cool white LED. Neutral white LED renders color like the sun in the afternoon. XM-L2 T6 Neutral white LED is approximately 7% dimmer than our top bin limited edition U2 cool white LED, but it's well worth it if you prefer the comfortable neutral color tint.

This gives you better color rendition and more accurate color relative to cool white LED.

Reflector

S200C2 uses polished aluminum reflector with smooth reflective finish for maximum output and far projecting beam. No donut, dark dot, or artifacts inside the beam.
