GG&G SLiC Thing - Sling Swivel & Light Combo Mount, Standard GGG-1227

GG&G SLiC Thing Sling and Light Combo Mount provides the end user with a lightweight, sturdy, versatile and inexpensive tactical light combo mount for attaching a sling on one side of the weapon, and a 2 1/8-inch MIL-SPEC-1913 rail to mount accessories such as a tactical gun light, on the other side. This tactical light mount positions the light at one o'clock, the location preferred by most experienced operators to maximize the tactical advantage during dynamic room entries. The GG&G SLIC Mount meets the preference of most experienced operators for tactical slings to be mounted on the side of the weapon, as high as possible to prevent "rifle roll". The GG&G SLiC Thing Mount provides this important position by easily mounting onto the AR15/M16 "A-frame" front sight assembly and is fully ambidextrous. The sling swivel accommodates slings up to 1 1/4 inch wide.

The GG&G SLiC Thing Light and Sling Mount is manufactured for rugged use from of 6061 T6 solid aluminum alloy, and is Type III hard-coat anodized matte black per mil-spec. Robust and rigid, the GG&G SLiC Thing Flashlight Mount is held in place by counter pressure steel socket head cap screws. With the addition of a GG&G one inch mounting ring (sold separately), the GG&G SLiC Thing Sling Mount will accommodate most of the excellent one inch diameter tactical weapon light models available today.
