Like all night sights, Night Fision uses self-illuminating Tritium to get the ''always on'' glow that makes them so effective. Night Fision sights have 30% more Tritium than most sights on the market. The Tritium insert isn't surrounded by a painted-on ring, but rather one made of a daylight fluorescing material that produces optimum visibility in daylight. The Night Fision Accur8 sights were designed in collaboration with Paul Markel and Student of the Gun. Accur8 sights are engineered to be the least complicated system a shooter needs to align sights, the Accur8 sights cut out the extra dot, and extra processing time for most shooters. Accur8 sights have a point of aim/point of impact at a defensive distance of 15 yards and feature a front sight dot that is designed to be brighter than the rear to avoid confusion when the lighting conditions are low.
