''Old Ironsides'' was built from oak and pine, but our Ironsides is made from SUS304 blackened stainless steel. Slip Ironsides Shield over your Swampfox dot sight and install using the supplied extra-length screws. All shock forces from barricade racking, drop testing, and other impacts are routed around your Swampfox optic and straight to the mounting footprint area, protecting the scope inside. Ironsides Shield is cheap insurance for those who know their optics will have a harsh life of constant use and abuse.

Includes one set of screws: #6-32 x .393in/ T10. These screws are intended to work with the most common pistol slide applications. At Swampfox, they encourage you to check the thread pitch of your mount before ordering the Ironsides Shield, because longer screws of the correct thread pitch may be required.
