For extinguishing fires or use as a heat barrier. An excellent supplement to existing safety equipment, blanket can be used to extinguish fires without the mess of foam or other fire-extinguishing chemicals.

Made of woven fiberglass. The 91.4x101.6cm (36x40") blanket is packaged in an instant-access 26.7x11.4cm (101/2x41/2") container that can be hung on the wall or stored. Extinguishes small Class “A” and light oil and grease fires. Rapidly adsorbs the heat generated by burning material and helps lower the flash point below the substance’s re-ignition temperature. The close weave of the cover greatly reduces the oxygen available to feed the fire. The blanket may also be wrapped around the head and body as a barrier from the heat. (Bel-Art H24869-0000)
