This warranty applies when such defects appear in Scopes delivered hereunder within the warranty period. The general warranty period shall be twenty (20) years. Some exclusions apply. Schmidt & Bender shall not be liable for any claims resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, abuse of the Scopes, improper handling, including but not limited to damages caused to Scopes due to normal wear and tear.
