The mounting holes for this Evolution Gun Works scope base fit older Mossberg 500 shotgun models, while the countersink openings are sized to fit newer Mossberg shotgun models. Evolution Gun Works manufactures the EGW Mossberg 500 Shotgun Scope Mount to the Picatinny specification, to accept both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings. The extended-length base allows flexible rifle scope positioning for optimal eye relief.image
