Product Info for 3M Peltor Sidewinder Tactical Communications Bone Conduction Headset & Microphone
3M Peltor Sidewinder Bone Conduction Tactical Headset kit for AN/PRC-153 and Motorola XTS Series Headsets 88044-00000 keeps your ears free and unemcumbered, with dual bone conductors that sit forward from the ears for radio-received audio, and a noise-canceling boom microphone for transmission. The radio audio is designed to be received through facial bones which leaves both ears free for situational and directional awareness. The Peltor Tactical Communications Headset lets users add tactical hearing protection and engage/disengage at will depending upon operational circumstances with nominal impact on the ability to receive and transmit tactical radio communications. The Peltor Sidewinder Tactical Headset Kit is compatible with both tactical earplugs and earmuff hearing protection, and is compatible with MBITR (AN/PRC-148).
