Product Info for Tops Knives Showdown Delta Fixed Blade Knife

Famed Al Pickles, 32-year law enforcement veteran and tribal game protector, reviews equipment for "Guns and Weapons Magazine." In February 2006 he wrote: "There is always a place for a fixed blade knife in law enforcement in as much as the profession covers such a wide range of tasks. TOPS, which stands for Tactical OPS, is appropriate for either law enforcement or military operations and is reportedly the fixed blade of choice for Seals, Special Forces, SWAT, Marine Force Recon, and a host of others. My sample is the TOPS Showdown DELTA. There is a thumb perch atop and a finger guard below. Weight is just a tad below a full pound. When you hold the DELTA in your hand you know you have a weapon that makes a fine tool.
