CRKT M16-13 Carson Special Forces Tanto Folding Knife is a military-ready folding knife with plenty of top-notch features and a lightweight, compact design. The open build of the CRKT knife allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt - very rare in folding knives. The knife features a 3.50" dual grind Tanto blade, made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel and forged into a sharp combo edge with smooth Veff serration. The blade, frame and hardware of the Columbia River M16-13 SF Combo Veff Edge Tanto Folder Knife feature a non-reflective finish, and the blade is equipped with a titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Kit Carson's trademark dual checkered thumb studs are standard on the knife, creating a one-hand opening and closing system that is quick and smooth. CRKT has equipped the knife with their exclusive patented AutoLAWKS automatic safety, which turns the folder into a virtual fixed blade automatically. This knife features scales made of G10, often preferred for its aggressive gripping texture, light weight, and superior insulating properties, and it is equipped with stainless steel liners with friction grooves for firm locking.
