CRKT M21 Southpaw EDC Spear Point Folding Knife M21-02GL is a left-handed edition of the classic M21 folding knife by knife designer Kit Carson. This CRKT knife utilizes a swedged and recurved spear point blade which is made of premium 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a nonreflective black titanium nitride finish which gives maximum corrosion resistance. The aggressive G10 texture of the knife's handle gives unparalleled grip and insulation against extreme temperatures, and the InterFrame handle build is very strong and lightweight. The Columbia River M-21 Left-Handed EDC Plain Edge Folder Knife also features the very popular "Carson Flipper" blade extension, which aids opening and acts as an additional blade guard. CRKT has engineered their patented AutoLAWKS automatic knife safety into all M21 models, which converts them into virtual fixed blades when their blades are open and locked. As is standard practice on CRKT folders, lubrous washers at the blade pivot assure velvety-smooth one-hand opening and closing, using Kit Carson's trademark dual checkered thumb studs, which also act as a blade stop. A removable stainless steel clothing/gear clip makes the knife easier to carry, and all fasteners, including the clip screws, are Torx;.
