EOTech 550 Holographic Red Dot Weapon Sight is the single most popular and widely used holosight on the market today. Used as a standard tactical optical sight by the DEA, ATF and FBI SWAT and also by the US Army, namely the Stryker Brigade, 10th Mountain Division and 3rd Infantry - you can't go wrong with this sight. The EOTech 550 Holosight boasts NV compatibility and works on 2 AA batteries. Using lithium, you will get 1000 hours of operations. Alkaline batteries give 600 hours of operation. The NV compatibility button on the EOTech 550 Holographic Weapon Sight immediately drops the brightness of the reticle to eliminate halp effects when using an image intensifier tube and to eliminate any blooming when using a magnifier. The reticle is projected using a passive system, which does not produce any muzzle-side signature on the sight. The EOTech 550 Red Dot HWS is intended for quick target acquisition and natural, intuitive pointing of the weapon a the target with both eyes open. EOTech 550 HWS Red Dot Sight is the most versatile, rugged, and advanced weapon targeting system available on the market today.
