SOG Aegis Folding Knives are the fast-opening series of top-end knives from SOG. An incredibly sharp, highly durable AUS 8 stainless steel blade makes up the heart of these SOG knives, coated in an attractive Satin or Black TiNi finish. The blade clocks in at 3.5" long, long enough to give the knife plenty of stopping power, but short enough for light weight and a compact size. SOG Aegis knives feature durable, ergonomic glass-reinforced nylon handles with a DigiGrip checkered pattern and high-friction rubber inserts. The SOG Aegis series of knives is just as effective for righties as it is for lefties, with a reversible pocket clip and an ambidextrous locking system. Most SOG Specialty Knives & Tools knives use the Arc-Lock locking system, but not the Aegis; instead, Aegis knives use the SAT (SOG Assisted Technology) dual spring release mechanism. SAT is an incredibly quick, one handed blade release and locking mechanism that will have your knife ready for use in the blink of an eye.
